What if common idioms were taken literally? Bestiary of Idioms is a personal project that transforms everyday expressions into surreal creatures, combining illustration, motion and Generative AI to explore new visual possibilities.
Each creature begins with an idiom and evolves through concept development, visual exploration, refinement and animation. Rather than generating finished images, Generative AI became part of the creative workflow, supporting experimentation while every final design was art directed, refined and animated with intention.
The collection continues to grow, building a playful bestiary where language becomes character.
